KATHUA Feb 26: In continuation to strict measures to thwart conspiracies of bovine smugglers, SI, Vishal Incharge Police Post, Hatli succeeded in foiling bovine smuggling bid and rescued 14 bovine animals.
Police team during checking at NHW near Hatli Morh seized one truck bearing Registration Number, JK02AH-5977 which was illegally carrying bovine animals. In this process police saved 14 bovine animals, arrested the bovine smuggler namely, Yaqoob Hussain S/o Mohd. Aslam R/o Poonch and seized the truck.
Police registered a case under relevant sections of law. Further investigation into the case is going on.
