Bovine smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, May 20: Gangyal police foiled bovine smuggling bid and rescued 6 milch animals.
As per police sources, police team from Gangyal police station led by SHO Inspector Ajay Jamwal laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02BG-9185 at Kunjwani chowk.
During checking, police rescued 6 bovine animals, while the driver of the vehicle gave slip to police.
A case under FIR number 77/15 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at police station Gangyal and investigation started.
