UDHAMPUR, Apr 21: Foiling an attempt of bovine smuggling, Police today arrested two persons and rescued three animals.
Acting on specific information that some bovine animals were being smuggled from Ramnagar to Srinagar in a Mahindra vehicle, a Police party from PP Rown Domail intercepted the said vehicle near Kendriya Vidyalya No 2, Dhar road.
Police arrested driver of the vehicle and his associate besides rescuing three animals. The accused were identified as Mohd Irshad of Hiranagar and Talib Hussain of Khoon Majalta.
