SAMBA, Aug 2: One Mohd Mansha son of Noor Ali, age 47 years resident of Nagrota Bye Pass, Jammu has been sentenced four months imprisonment with fine by Manzoor Hussain, JMIC Samba for commission of crime relevant under Sections and he has been lodged in Sub-Jail Hiranagar for execution of sentence.
The case was investigated by Rajeshwar Singh, Sub-Inspector, Incharge PP SIDCO who was the Investigating Officer of the said case and pleaded in the Court by Raj Kumar, Senior Prosecuting Officer Samba under the overall supervision of Anil Magotra, Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba.
It is Pertinent to mention here that on 24.02.2014, load carrier Mahindra-207 bearing Registration number JK02AC-9078 driven by Mohd Mansha, Jammu which coming from Kathua was signaled to stop by the Naka Party at SIDCO Chowk, Samba but the vehicle jumped the Naka forcibly and when the over speedy vehicle tried to take turn towards Mansar, it lost its balance and turned turtle. Naka party while chasing the vehicle reached there and rescued seven bovine animals which were mercilessly tied in the vehicle.
Accordingly, the vehicle was seized and Case FIR number 34/2014 under section 279/188 RPC, 2/3 PCA Act was registered with police station, Samba.
