REASI, Nov 2: Police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
“On specific inputs, police party from Reasi Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a persons namely Romesh Chander, son of Isher Dass of Karwa Kotli”, SSP Reasi Mohammad Sharief Chouhan told here.
During search, police recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the bootlegger, he added.
A case under FIR number 151/2013 and under Section 48 (A) Excise Act stands registered at Police Station Reasi and investigation started.
