JAMMU, Nov 2: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) in its Executive meting here, today held under the chairmanship of its senior vice president, R K Raina criticized the recent statement of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah suggesting the Ireland type solution to Kashmir as highly irresponsible.
S K Bhat spokesperson of the organization expressed his surprise over the statement and termed it misleading the innocent people of Valley. He said for the information of Mr Abdullah the final settlement of Kashmir was made in 1947 by none else than his grand father, Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah and his NC which endorsed the accession sighed by Maharaja with Union of India.
Mrs Veena Gurtoo president, Women Cell ASKPC said that CM who is on oath to protect the integrity and unity of the country should be taken to task for such statement.
Bharat Bushan Gosani, Ravi Raina and Ashok Dhar, S L Mujoo and others also addressed the meeting.
