LEH, Feb 16: A bootlegger along with illicit liquor was apprehended by Leh police from New Bus Stand.
“On specific information, a police team from police post Housing Colony raided a rented accommodation of one Nepali national namely Bir Bhadur son of Karan Bhadur, resident of Sidhpal Chowk, Nepal (at present living in a rented accommodation at New Bus Stand, Leh) and recovered a large quantity of illicit liquor (163 cans of beer) which he was selling illegally,” police sources said.
They said the accused person was arrested and a case FIR Number 12/2022, under Section 48 (A) Excise Act was registered in this connection at Police Station Leh.
