JAMMU, Mar 3: A bootlegger was arrested today by Gajansoo police which recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
“Today at about 10:30 AM, a police party from police post Gajansoo laid a naka at Bhole Chak and during checking one person namely Skinder Lal son of Biru Ram of Halqa Marh was apprehended and 59 pouches (50 of 180 ml and 9 of 250 ml) of illicit liquor were recovered from him possession,” a police official said.
He said that a case FIR number 39/20 under Section 48 A Excise Act has been registered in this connection at concerned police station while the accused has been arrested by ASI Sanjeet Singh of police post Gajansoo.
