LEH, Mar 3: The Wing Commander Commanding Officer Indian Air Force (IAF) Manoj Menon and Squadron Leader, R. Wangchok today called on Chairman/Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Leh Gyal P Wangyal at Council Secretariat and apprised him about the Indian Air Force recruitment rally 2020 exclusively being conducted for youth of Ladakh.
Wing Commander told CEC that it will be a golden opportunity for youth of Ladakh to be associated with Indian Air Force and serve for the motherland as air warriors and requested to spread maximum awareness about the upcoming recruitment rally in entire Ladakh. He said that the recruitment rally for eligible students (boys) of UT Ladakh as airmen who have already completed 12th and are in the age bracket of 17 to 21 years and students studying in class 11th and 12th will be conducted from 11th to 14th May 2020 at Airforce Station Leh.
To ensure maximum participation in the said rally, Air Force officers said that the team of IAF with an aim to motivate eligible youth of Ladakh conducted extensive publicity at various schools at Leh, Kharu, Diskit, Khaltsi, Kargil and Zanskar and will continue such drive in coming days.
CEC Wangyal assured every possible support from Council in making this rally a success.
