JAMMU, Sept 25: The police arrested a bootlegger and recovered 20 litres of illicit liquor from his possession.
Official sources said that Akhnoor Police led by SHO Hilal Azhar, today arrested one bootlegger namely- Kuldeep Kumar, son of Mangi Ram, resident of village Jamotian, in Tehsil Akhnoor along with illicit liquor.
The said person used to manufacture illicit liquor with local distillery/utensils at his home. The distillery and other manufacturing utensils along with 20 litres of illicit liquor has been seized. A case FIR No. 250/2021 U/s 48 (b) (d) (e) was registered at Police Station Akhnoor in this connection.
