UDHAMPUR, Nov 22: Police today arrested a bootlegger and seized from his possession 49 poly pouches of illicit liquor, which were being smuggled for illegal sale.
The accused was identified as Vijay Kumar of Pandoh Katra, who was arrested near Manthal by a police party, led by Incharge PP Tikri.
He was carrying these poly pouches to his native village Pandoh Katra for illegal sale. In this connection, a case under Section 48A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal.
