JAMMU, Feb 27: A Book focusing on post 370 abrogation developments in Jammu and Kashmir, with titled ‘Beyond 370 Jammu and Kashmir- Spread Its Wings’ was launched in a function held here today.
The book was launched by Ritu Singh, a catalyst for change and pioneer in education and women empowerment in presence of Tribal Social Worker and Researcher Javaid Rahi, Director of Jammu and Kashmir Study Circle Dr. Ashutosh Bhatnagar, Founder Secretary of Aditi Pratishthan Mamta Singh, President of Sarveshwar Group Rohit Gupta, and Historian of Art and Culture Lalit Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, Ritu Singh mentioned that due to Article 370, the women of Jammu and Kashmir were not getting their rights, and the removal of this article is a significant step towards women’s empowerment in Jammu and Kashmir. Prime Minister Modi deserves congratulations for this.
Ashutosh Bhatnagar, said that due to the Article 370 rendered ineffective, Jammu and Kashmir has been truly integrated in India’s mainstream.
Mamta Singh shed light on the issues faced by women in border areas in her speech.
This book is centered on the development programs in Jammu and Kashmir after the ineffective Article 370 and is written based on field research and facts.
Among others who graced the event included, Annil Suri, Avinash, Rahul Ramesh Bhosale, Rajiv Ranjan and Suman Raj Shukla.
