BNI Benchmark launched in Jammu

After 33 years of foundation in the USA, Business Network International – BNI has launched its chapter, BNI – Benchmark in Jammu with 35 plus members (Hall of Fame) having the closed business of more than Rs 67 lakhs. It is the 709th Chapter of BNI in the country. Only business owners and key decision makers can be members of BNI.
The inaugural session was graced by Sunil Kuhzuvelil – District Director, BNI India and Regional Directors of Jammu Raghav and Dimpi Gupta along with BNI Jammu Regional Team Atul Vinod Duggal , Anubhav Aggarwal , Shivani Gupta and support ambassador Vaneet Aggarwal.
Talking to media persons, Raghav informed that the members in BNI meet weekly to exchange quality business referrals between each other which provide an opportunity to grow their businesses. “‘We are in the process of launching four chapters presently and expect the Jammu region to grow to a member size of 250 in a year’s time,” he said and added that this is the only organizations of its type, which also eliminates the chance of competition by allowing only one person from a specific profession in each chapter.
“The idea behind BNI is to help members increase their business through a structured, positive and professional business networking and referral program that enables them to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with quality business professionals. In BNI, members do not pay any commissions for the business they gain through the referrals received,” said Raghav and added that the organization aims to create an outstanding culture that promotes collaboration and cocreation.
BNI is the world’s largest business networking organization established over 35years ago and present in over 74 countries with over 2,73,086 members globally. In the last 12 months, BNI members globally have exchanged 16.6 Billion US dollars of business through referrals.
It started in India 13 years ago and now spread to over 84 cities with more than 34,054 plus members. The average seat value per member in new business terms in BNI India is INR 47.46 lakhs per year and growing.
