BLSKS presents musical play ‘Nari Shakti’

JAMMU, Mar 7: To celebrate International Women’s Day, artists of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production presented musical play ‘Nari Shakti’.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra from Health Department of J&K.
Among guests of honour were Dr. Tara Singh Charak and former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K, J.K Koul, free lance writer, producer, director and chief patron of JK Bhoomi Welfare Society.
Specially prepared songs written by M.L Dogra and composed by Raju Bajgal, Musical Instructor BLSKS were presented on the occasion.
The chief guest called upon the civil society to empower the women force for making cultural traditions stronger and vibrant.
Welcome address was delivered by M.L Dogra, chairman BLSKS.
The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who participated in the musical play were Usha Handoo, K.K Joshi, M.C Kotwal, Rajni Gupta, Raju Bajgal, Bindia Arora, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Tilak Raj, Sanjay Pashi, Jagjeet Singh Awal, Sudesh Manhas, Sudesh Kumari Pummy, Kamla Devi, Rakshita Sharma and others.
