BLSKS presents musical play ‘Maa Sheran Wali’

JAMMU, Aug 27: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged musical play ‘Maa Sheran Wali’ in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and ESRM, as parts of its regular feature at Durga Bhawan, Janipur, Jammu.
Written, produced and directed by ML Dogra (chairman, BLSKS), the play commenced with welcome song “Jai Jai Sheranwali”, “Mayia he Mahiya meri Mahiya”, “Tum Durga Tum Laxmi Tum Hi Maa Sheranwali”, “Jammu te Kahmir Sade Leher ek ayi Gyi”, “Swasth Humara Bharat Hoga Ghar- Ghar Main Souchalya Hoga.
VK Magotra, MD, BLSKS explained aims and objectives of the play “Maa Sheran Wali”. He said that Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Hindu Mother Goddess Mahalakshmi. The words “Maa” and “Mata” are commonly used in India for “mother”, and thus are often used in connection with Vaishno Devi.
The singers, musicians, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Handoo, Renu Saproo, Dhruv Pandit, Hem Raj, Ritesh Magotra, Deevam Jandiyal, Shival, Surinder Verma, Aryan Verma, Salman Bhatti, Manjit Singh, Soyam, Sakshi, Ravi Kumar, Sonu Gupta, Sunil Kumar, Shan Khan, Mohd Afroz Raz, Anil Gupta, Chahat Chhadha, Pooja Gupta, Janvi Arora and many others.
