JAMMU, Mar 10: To observe National Safety Week 2018 and promote the traditional folk culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan performed its 199th Saturday series musical play “Apun Bachna Duain Bachana ” , here today in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production at open air theatre Durga Bhawan, Disco Morh Janipur Jammu.
The musical play was written, produced and directed by M L Dogra, former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K was chief guest on the occasion while R P Amla, Event Director BLSKS, V K Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, GoI were the other guests.
The program commenced with songs , “Apun Bachna Duain Bachana Nara Aye Ghar-Ghar Punchana”. Songs, Mime, Skits and dances were presented to aware the masses. The music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Muisc Instructor , BLSKS and the song was sung by the artists of BLSKS and students of the institute.
The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play, were Usha Handoo, Raju Bajgal, Rajni Gupta, Rakshit Sharma , Druv Pandit, Kuldeep Raj , Bodh Raj, M C Kotwal, Deevam Jandiyal, Ujwal, Renu Sapoo, Tilak Raj, Chahat Chadha and others. Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
