BLSKS presents Musical Concert ‘Muskan’

JAMMU, May 20: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Directorate of Social Welfare Department and Sangam Tru Art Production presented Dogri Musical Concert ‘Muskan’ on the theme of ‘Drug Abuse’.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, J&K Health Department.
Among guests of honour were V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity; Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra from Health Department and other dignitaries.
Specially prepared items for this occasion were ‘Nasha Na Karna Maan Lo Kehna’, ‘Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio’, skits, songs, dances etc to aware the masses. The chief guest said, when a person who takes drugs becomes addict he has to keep on taking them to avoid the pain of withdrawal symptoms.
He also highlighted the dangers of drug use and their illegal trade.
Artist of BLSKS also presented awareness songs written by Dr. M.L Dogra for which the music was given by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor BLSKS.
Earlier welcome speech was given by Dr. M.L Dogra, BLSKS chairman.
The artists and students of Music and Computer Institute who participated in the musical concert were Usha Raina, M.C Kotwal, Chahat Chadha, Bindia Okheda, Rudar Partap, Ujwal Sharma, Jiya Barua, Vandana Gupta and others.
Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
