JAMMU, Feb 4: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged musical play “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production at Government High School, Sujwan, Samba and Government High School, Nanak Chak, Samba.
The play was inaugurated by the chief guest Rafiq Mohammad, Headmaster, Government High School, Sujwan, Samba and by Nirmal Pathan, Headmaster, Government High School, Nanak Chak, Samba.
Amita Katal, Rita Rani, Vinay Sharma, Kanchan Kumari, Lekh Raj, senior teachers of host schools with Anganwadi staff, teachers, workers, children and general public witnessed the plays.
The “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” musical play was written, produced and directed by ML Dogra, Chairman BLSKS.
The artists, who performed in the play were Usha Handoo, Hem Raj, MC Kotwal, Gauri Lal, KK Joshi, Rajni Gupta, Rahul Raina, Babu Din, Kuldeep Raj, Raju Bajgal, Sunil Kumar, Deepak Kumar and some school children.
In the end, Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
