UDHAMPUR, Mar 15: A first ever blood donation camp, using Mobile Van was organized at remote Latti town in Medical Block Dudu-Basantgarh in district Udhampur today.
On the directions of Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Saleem-Ur-Rehman, the team of Medical professionals led by CMO and DyCMO Udhampur and Dr Kajan Khajuria from GMC Udhampur along with Mobile Van reached Latti for holding first ever blood donation camp in this remote area. The staff of PHC Latti and BMO, Dr Yassar also joined the team.
Sarpanch Latti Kasturi Lal Gupta inaugurated the camp in presence of Medical staff and Tehsildar Latti Paramdeep Singh. Over a score of villagers and government officials donated blood. Due to heavy rain in the area today, the process was disrupted.
