JAMMU, June 7: Sant Nirankari Mandal Jammu today organized a voluntarily blood donation camp under the banner of SNCF in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Department of Govt Medical College Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Shastri Nagar.
The camp was inaugurated by Ajit Singh, zonal in-cahrge of Sant Nirankari Mandal Jammu.
“The Sant Nirankari Mission is fulfilling the dream of Satguru that “Blood should flow in veins & not in drains,” said Ajit Singh, adding that all the necessary guidelines to prevent COVID-19 infection are strictly observed during the camp.
The donors were called in a group of 3 to 5 at a time and due to COVID-19, only 20 donors have succeeded to donate blood, he said.
Other dignitaries who were present during the camp including Dr Devinder Pal Singh , official of Blood Bank GMC Jammu, Dr Mohan Lal Menia, Retd ENT Consultant GMC Jammu and Ghar Singh, Sanchalak Sewadal.
