Blind murder worked out by Domana police

JAMMU, Sept 15: Domana police today claimed to have solved a blind murder case.
According to a police official, on September 1 this year, the dead body of man namely Angrez Singh son of Sain Dass, resident of Barn (Gharota, Jammu) was found lying on the rear seat of his Alto K-10 car bearing Registration No JK02BU-3751 at Kheri area falling under the limits of police post Chinore, following which inquest proceeding vide DDR No 8 was initiated at police post Chinore.
During the course enquiry, it came to fore that during the intervening night of August 31, a quarrel took place between the deceased Angrez Singh and his son namely Sanjay Kumar at their residence and in the morning of September 1 in pursuance to some personal enmity, Sanjay Kumar gave electric shock to his father and killed him.
The police official said that in order to destroy the evidence, the accused Sanjay Kumar took the dead body from his home in his own Alto car and parked the vehicle in the forest area at Kheri. In this connection, inquest proceeding has been converted into murder case under Section 302/201 RPC and the same has been forwarded to police station Gharota for further registration of a formal case.
