BJYM organises IT, Social Media Workshop

JAMMU, Sept 3: State IT and Social Media team of BJYM organised IT and Social Media Workshop of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at Party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here today.
BJP State President and MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated the Session by lighting the Traditional Lamp in the presence of BJYM State President, Dr Suresh Ajay Magotra, BJP State Secretary and Prabhari BJYM Sanjay Baru, BJYM National IT In-charge Devan Davi, State IT In-charge Saurab Jain and State Social Media In-charge Rohit Verma.
Mr Sat Sharma along with BJYM Dr Magotra also launched State BJYM website on the occasion. BJYM State General Secretaries Vikas Choudhary and Tarun Sharma, State Vice-President and Prabhari Social Media, Advocate Annu Behnal and State co-incharge Keshav Khajuria were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma appreciated the hard work done by BJYM to organise such a big and brain storming workshop and said that this is the first ever workshop in the State with the activists participating from Districts and mandals, adding that at present the youth of the country is very much familiar with all the technical gadgets and internet.
“This is the time when the people have ignored the use of electronic and print media and is very close with the IT and Social Media,” Mr Sharma added.
BJYM National President Poonam Mahajan and National Social Media Incharge Chetan Bragta also connected with the activists on video conferencing from Mumbai and Himachal Pradesh respectively.
In her Address Poonam Mahajan congratulated BJYM for the workshop and said that social media is a very important tool to use in Jammu & Kashmir, for showing the reality on ground and the growth in every sector to the whole world.
Addressing the gathering, Ashok Koul congratulated BJYM for this workshop and said that by doing video conferencing session, shows this powerful tool of present era is seriously used by State BJYM.
Dr Magotra also spoke on the occasion, while BJYM National IT Incharge Devang Dave gave a detailed presentation on the IT and Social Media gadgets.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by BJYM State IT In-charge, Sourab Jain.
Around 200 BJYM activists including State office bearers and Social Media In-charges participated in this workshop.
