UDHAMPUR, Oct 14: Activists of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) staged protest against the recent selection list of the fire brigade and demanded its immediate cancellation.
The protest was held under the leadership of BJYM District Udhampur President Sushant Gupta, who while speaking alleged major disturbances and rigging in the fire brigade service recruitment.
The protestors demanded stern action against the corruption officials involved in the entire scam.
Gupta said that it is extremely unfortunate and shocking how corruption and brokerage are prevalent in the recruitment process, due to which deserving youth are being deprived of their rights to get jobs.
He warned that if the so-called recruitment list of the fire brigade would not be withdrawn or canceled soon, the BJYM would launch a massive agitation against this injustice.
He said that a high-level inquiry into this recruitment scam should be conducted and all those involved should be sacked and punished to set a strong example for fair recruitments in future.
