JAMMU, Oct 14: Inspired by the pro-public policies of BJP and looking at the developmental agenda set by the PM Narendra Modi for all sections in Jammu and Kashmir, dozens of people hailing from various wards of Jammu West Assembly segment joined the party today.
They were welcomed into the party fold by former president BJP J&K, Sat Sharma (CA) and district president of the party for Jammu West, Munish Khajuria. District Sangathan Mantri, Mohan Singh Rana, district general secretary, Rajesh Gupta, Mandal presidents, Raveesh Mengi, Keshav Chopra and Suneel Sharma Raka were also present.
While welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Sat Sharma said that their joining will enhance the activities of the organization at ground level and will also boost the cadre as well. He said that people are choosing BJP because they know that it is the only party that works by taking all sections of society together and focuses on putting nation as its priority. He stated that the foremost agenda of party is to focus on the mission of “Antyodya” and party under the leadership of PM believes that to strengthen the roots of the country, it is important to strengthen weaker sections first. He also asked the participants to work for the betterment of society and expected from them that they will work for strengthening the party at grass root level.
Munish Khajuria said that the newly joined people in the district will be assigned various responsibilities in coming days and their services will be utilized to reach out to masses and serve them. He also stated that BJP has always believed in the agenda of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” and it will keep working under the same ideology with the support of the masses.
Prominent who joined BJP were Pt. Satish Sharma, Deepak Shastri, Rakesh Sharma, Raj Kumar, Pitamber Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Kartar Sharma, Vijay, Rohit, Rakesh Kumar, Gourav, Vinod, Anil, Madan Lal, Somil Shastri, Sachin Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Sunny Kumar, Vikram and others.
District BJP leaders Neeraj Gupta, Raman Sharma, Rohit Gupta and Jarnail Singh Khokhar were also present on the occasion.
