JAMMU, Sept 21: In order to provide relief to the flood victims, BJYM team comprising of National Executive Member and Incharge J&K Ashok Singh along with State vice presidents, Bharat Sharma and Bhanu Jasrotia , State general secretaries Ajay Pargal, District President Ishant Gupta and other leaders Ankush Mahajan, Rohit Verma, Manjeet Singh and Sandeep Tyagi distributed relief material among the flood victims of Suriya Chak and Phallian Mandal.
As per a release, the BJYM team distributed blankets, biscuits, flour, water bottles and mustard oil among the victims.
Mr Singh who is on the four days tour of flood hit areas of the State to assess the situation. He said the condition of people in the State is worst as they lost every thing in the floods. He made an appeal to the administration to arrange for the shelters for these victims as early as possible.
He also assured them speedy redressal of their genuine demands. He also appealed the concerned departments to assess the loss of the people and pay compensation accordingly.
