JAMMU, May 23: BJYM J&K led by it’s chief Arundev Singh today organized blood donation camp at Jagdambay Palace, Durga Nagar (Jammu Rural) while adhering to the social distancing norms.
Talking to the reporters after the inauguration of the camp, Arundev Singh said, owing to COVID -19, lockdown has been imposed in the entire country and due to which there is a decline in voluntary blood donation in the UT. In order to accelerate voluntary blood donation in the UT, this noble step has been taken by BJYM J&K to reduce the growing deficit of blood in blood banks across J&K, which will be extremely helpful to the needy patients in the hospitals. He said BJYM is always on forefront in the service of nation.
BJYM J&K complimented the donors for supporting this initiative and also to the officials and staff of blood bank for providing the relevant help in such short time .
Arundev Singh further said such drives will continue throughout the UT at district and Mandal levels and youth should come in front to help nation at this difficult time.
