In Uttar Pradesh BJP’s clean sweep in civic elections should be the eye-opener to the critics. The problem today is that India’s strength is misunderstood. Social media and electronic media do not represent India. It is very low percentage of the Indian population, which watch debates on the electronic media or on social media. India is not the country of suit and boot. It is the country of farmers and labourers and middle class families. The suited-booted debaters do not represent India. And the irony is that these people do not generally participate in casting their votes. It is the common person, which forms the Government. Uttar Pradesh is the state of common people and this section has proved that they have faith in Modi, Yogi and BJP. As regards losing of Rahul Gandhi’s bastion, it also gives us the message that Congress has been marginalised.
