Srinagar, Sept 23: Lashing out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for being a “threat” to India because of propagating communal politics, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Chief Saif-ud-Din Soz, today said being backed by “lethal and communal” organization, Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), BJP will “perish” from the political scene of the country.
“It (BJP) is not a national party, it is a communal party as RSS is fully backing it and dictating its hate propaganda,” Soz said while speaking to party youth workers at a workshop on social media at Nigeen Club in Srinagar here.
“I have firm faith and believe that Narendra Modi will not succeed to become the Prime Minister of the country. His defeat is inevitable (in the coming Parliamentary elections). And this is the darkest period of the BJP propaganda.”
Asserting upon the youth members to follow Gandhian way to defeat Modi, Soz said: “If we want to defeat Modi and BJP, we have to follow his (Gandhi’s) ways. We have to mobilize the youth and make his defeat possible as youth will launch a powerful, secular offensive against Modi tirade.”
“The workshop is timely as it is held ahead of the (Parliamentary) elections. Youth should harness social media to propagate the party’s ideology and counter BJP’s online propaganda,” Nawang Rigzin Jora, who is Minister for Urban Development, said.
