JAMMU, July 24: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, has slammed Congress for ignoring particular hamlets in Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
Randhawa, who today visited Lower Gadi Garh area on the invitation of the local residents found the lanes and drains in dilapidated condition and accused the Congress legislator whom people voted to power for two consecutive terms of ignoring these hamlets. He said that those who represented the Gandhi Nagar Constituency for 12 years have miserably failed to deliver justice to the masses. Randhawa said that they have developed areas of their interests for vote banks.
Randhawa said that the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed to carry forward the agenda of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ and every nook and corner will be developed irrespective of caste, colour and creed. He said that every citizen is entitled to basic amenities and BJP will bring development to their doorsteps.
Randhawa on the spot issued directions to the Block Development Officer (BDO) Satwari to prepare a detailed project report of various lanes and drains so that the work on the same can be started soon after the Monsoon. Randhawa assured the people that adequate funds will be provided for the development of the area to the concerned agency.
The locals have appreciated the sincere efforts of Ch. Vikram Randhawa in carrying out development in the area and reaching out to those who have been ignored for the last many years. The locals have extended full support to the BJP in the coming future.
