‘BJP took effective steps for women empowerment’

JAMMU, Sept 12: National President BJP Mahila Morcha, Vijaya Rahatkar termed Ujjawala Yojana as a major step in helping out the women folk especially in rural or suburban setup.
She said that the BJP has always fought for the empowerment of the women and taken effective steps in this regard.
She was addressing the beneficiaries of various Central and State sponsored schemes here today.
National Vice President Mahila Morcha & In-charge J&K Mahila Morcha, Rashim Dar Sood, MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul and many others were also present on the occasion.
Rahatkar said that keeping in view the very basic ideology of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas’, BJP has truly represented every sect and worked for their true upliftment.
She said that the women in last row will also get the benefit of every public welfare scheme.
Rahatkar also impresses upon all the Morcha leaders to increase their participation in the political field.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, in his address, spoke on the various developmental and public welfare policies.
Chander Parkash Ganga and Dr. Manyal spoke on various government schemes implemented for the public welfare.
