BJP to discuss Congress ‘misrule’ in national executive meet

JAIPUR, May 20:  Issues like inflation, corruption and “CBI action against BJP leaders” will be high on BJP’s agenda during party’s two-day national executive meet in Goa next month, party vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said here.

Party leaders will also discuss strategy for the upcoming Assembly polls in four states, including Rajasthan, he said.

“Party will chalk out strategy for upcoming Assembly polls in Delhi, Rajathan, MP and Chhattisgarh in the executive meeting. Inflation and corruption, particularly in Congress-ruled states, will also be discussed,” he said.

A meeting of the party’s office bearers will take place on June 7, followed by the national executive on June 8 and 9, he said.

Naqvi alleged that Congress was misusing CBI against BJP leaders out of political vendetta.

“Congress is conspiring to implicate our leaders in cases through CBI, but we will not sit quiet and give a strong reply to them,” he said.

Naqvi said the party will organise ‘jail bharo’ agitations across the country from May 27 to June 2.

He claimed that the UPA government is the most corrupt one in the country has seen since independense.
