JAMMU, June 25: A meeting was held by Talab Tillo Mandal to take stock of the ongoing “Maha Sampark Abhiyan” (MSA) by the party activists at Eden Garden premises. The meeting was organized and arranged by Mandal President Ayodhya Gupta under the supervision of district vice-president & Incharge “Maha Sampark Abhiyan” Jammu West Sanjay Baru.
The guest of honor at the meeting was State vice-president & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A) and it was presided over by State general secretary Munish Sharma.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the party activists, said that Narendra Modi’s stress on active and dynamic party machinery is the key to ensure that BJP can effectively act as a bridge between the public and the government. Modi wants that the government should be sensitive to public aspirations and their welfare requirements and the party activists have to ensure that the government gets realistic public feedback. The membership drive that was carried out by the party activists and now being followed by “Maha Sampark Abhiyan” is the key to achieve this laudable goal. Sharma impressed on the activists the need to keep in view the future of the society and should treat this abhiyan as an important means to it.
Munish Sharma, in his address, said that primary membership is the basic building block of the party and forms the foundation on which the party structure is made. BJP is a party which is constituted from the base unlike the Congress which gets constituted from the top.
BJP is a people’s party and anyone from a simple member can become its national president by sincere dedicated work.
Sanjay Baru, who proposed vote of thanks said “Maha Sampark Abhiyan” is the next logical step in laying down sound foundation for the party.
