RAJOURI, Apr 2: In protest against State Government’s soft approach towards the anti-national elements and its attempts to silent those who stand for equal treatment to all regions and development, BJP Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Yudhvir Sethi led a massive protest of party activists at Sunderbani town under party’s “Gram Chalo Ghar Chalo Abhiyaan”.
It passed through main bazaars of the town with party activists carrying flags and placards and raising slogans against the State Government.
Yudhvir Sethi, while addressing the gathering, said that current session of the State Assembly has witnessed very different situation as the whole concentration remained focussed on anti-national elements like Afzal Guru and Liyaqat Ali. He said that neither National Conference nor PDP has so far shown any concern for the welfare and development but utilized whole time in fighting with each other to prove loyality towards anti-national elements. The silence on part of the Congress too is dangerous for the state as well as the nation.
Sethi alleged that the Government has adopted very strange attitude towards the elected representatives who raise matters related to development and demand ending discrimination with Jammu and Ladakh regions in all matters and at all levels. He said that by doing so, the Omar Abdullah led Coalition Government has been exposed for its pro-terrorist, pro-separatist and anti-development policies, which need to be opposed tooth and nail.
Dr Ashok Sharma, Sunderbani-Nowshera District President, said that the present situation in the state demands unity among the nationalist people to teach a lesson to the Government which has totally adopted negative approach in matters related to development and is siding with those elements who have been working against the nation and responsible for deaths and destruction.
