JAMMU, July 24: A meeting of BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha was held under the chairmanship of Surinder Bhagat, its president wherein it discussed certain points and decided to intensify campaign for forthcoming elections.
The points discussed in the meeting were that only seven seats are reserved for SCs in Jammu division while maximum population of SC community resides in Bishnah, Akhnoor, Marh, Vijaypur, Nagrota, Jammu West, Gandhi Nagar, Suchet Garh, Udhampur, Ram Nagar, Kathua, Reasi, Bhaderwah/Doda and Jammu East.
The meeting also discussed to launch rally in which the Morcha will highlight the wrong policies of NC- Congress as well as PDP against the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.
It also discussed about no reservation in ReT, ReZ and back log and roster points which are not maintained properly.
Other present in the meeting were Puran Chand, Dr G D Bajju, Chand Bala, Raj Kumar Bal Krishan, Naresh Kumar, Rajan, Hardesh Kumar, Geeta Devi and others.
