JAMMU, Sept 11: Yudhvir Sethi, Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party vice president has asserted that BJP has proved its credibility as true secular party in letter and spirit and with the growing popularity of the party as well as Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, more and more people are joining the world’s largest political party every other day.
He expressed this during a function at the party headquarters in which PDP general secretary Jammu East constituency, Akbar Khan along with his supporters joined the BJP. Besides, others Vinay Gupta, district president BJP, Parveen Kerni, East Mandal, president, corporator, Narotam Sharma, BJP leaders Arun Sethi, Sudhir Anand, Vipin Sharma, Amit Khanna, Sanjay and Anuradha Sharma were present.
Yudhvir Sethi, while welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, said that it is due to the growing popularity of BJP and the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi that even the stalwarts from other political parties are joining the Party every other day. He said the BJP follows the ideology that has proved its credibility as “true secular party” in letter and spirit. He said that it is the only political party that takes utmost care of the aspirations of the people belonging to each and every community without indulging in “appeasement politics”. Moreover, it is deadly against the “dynastic politics’ which is the trademark of Congress, National Conference and the People’s Democratic Party, he added.
Vinay Gupta, district president BJP said that people fully realize today that the BJP is undoubtedly the first and only choice to guarantee the welfare and prosperity of every section of the society irrespective of caste, creed, colour or religion followed by them. He said that party is poised for an unprecedented performance in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections.
Akbar Khan, in his address, said that that he along with his supporters is very much influenced by the aura and the works of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who has set up an exceptional example of public service. He said that he is of the firm view that he will be able to serve the people with full vigour and support now after having joined the Party.
Prominent among those who joined the Party include Inderjeet Singh, Sudesh Kumar, Sahil Dogra and Tarun Kumar.
