BJP protests against poor BSNL services

JAMMU, July 20: Led by BJP Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Yudhvir Sethi, hundreds of BJP activists and people came out on the roads to protest against poor cellular service by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).
They assembled at Purani Mandi Chowk and took out a march which culminated at City Chowk, where the effigy of BSNL was burnt. The protestors were shouting slogans against the BSNL authorities for the poor connectivity and busy network which has become common feature of its service throughout Jammu provision.
Yudhvir Sethi, while addressing the protestors, said that the BSNL customers are made to suffer on account of poor services despite the fact that this Government was supposed to run department better as it has modern and costly infrastructure in comparison to other private service providers.
He said, when we cross the Akhnoor town the cellular signal disappears up to Poonch. We can’t think about the proper signal in the heart of city. Many times people couldn’t contact each other because the numbers continuously sounding busy even when the mobile sets are not busy”.
