JAMMU, Aug 26: In an impressive function held at R.S.Pura and chaired by BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, along with State general Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh and local MLA Dr. Gagan Bhagat, a large number of females belonging to different areas of the Constituency were presented insurance gifts under “Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Beema”.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, on this occasion, said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched this historic scheme for the benefit of the poor and weaker sections of the society in which the females are insured on the premium being paid by the local MLA. He said that every elected representative of the Party is undertaking this scheme and lakhs of females will be covered in it in Jammu and Kashmir alone.
Dr. Narinder Singh said that it is indeed a very poor -friendly schemes and needs to be taken to every nook and corner of the Constituency.
Dr. Gagan Bhagat said that his constituency houses the maximum population of rural areas and the number of the families in these areas are much more than in urban areas. He said that the scheme has received wide spread appreciation.
Mahila Morcha R.S.Pura President Monika said that the Prime Minister has really done a big thing by launching this scheme and every effort is being made to ensure that the most poor, most needy sister are covered under it.
Party leaders including H. S Pammi and Dr. Karan Bhagat also expressed their views on the occasion.
