BJP pays glowing tributes to Deen Dayal Upadhayay on his birth anniversary

JAMMU, Sept 25: On the 104th birth anniversary of former Jana Sangh president, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, senior J&K BJP leaders paid rich tributes to one of its founding father across the Jammu & Kashmir in booth level programmes in all the Assembly constituencies and districts.
Main programme in this regard was organized at BJP Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here which was presided over by J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina. Former BJP president, Ashok Khajuria, former president and former Minister, Sat Sharma, former Dy. CM, Kavinder Gupta, BJP vice-president, Yudhvir Sethi, vice-president and former Minister, Sham Sharma, BJP general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta, BJP general secretary and former Minister, Dr. D K Manyal, former MLC Vikram Randhawa, former Minister, Priya Sethi, chief spokesperson, Sunil Sethi, JMC Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta, JMC Dy. Mayor, Purnima Sharma, Munish Sharma, Jaideep Rajwal of IT Cell and other senior BJP leaders also paid tributes to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayay .
On the occasion Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and BJP national president, J. P. Nadda also addressed the BJP activists from New Delhi.
PM Modi paid tributes to the BJP leaders and activists who have laid down their lives while serving the society. Narendra Modi appreciated the dedicated working by the BJP activists during Corona Pandemic. Today, there are few people among us who have won, seen, heard or worked with Deendayal Ji. His way, his philosophy, the moment of life gives us hope, inspires us and makes us energetic”.
The path shown by Upadhayay Ji gives us strength. Pt. Ji had worked on the economic and social model to develop modern India. He relied on strength of youth of the nation. His vision is time tested now. Today the nation is progressing on the ideas of Upadhayay Ji. This birthday is somewhat special as the nation has witnessed the important decisions in recent past that were envisioned by him. There are historic decisions for everyone’s welfare. Today the nation is tirelessly working to empower every neglected section. Pandit Ji cautioned everyone towards the ever increasing social evils. He emphasized on all the schemes rolled out to help all the economically & socially victimized and marginalized sections of the society.
J P Nadda said that Pandit Ji provided us with a thought process on which we are striving today. He spoke about “Ekatma Manav Vaad” which is connected to the roots of our culture. This gave birth to the idea of “Antodya” which made us to work for the neglected and the oppressed one. Modi Government is dedicated to the neglected, downtrodden and everyone who needs attention, he said and mentioned Izzatghar, PMAY, Ujjawala Yojna, Sobhagya, Ayushmaan Bharat, Soil Health Card, Fasal Bima Yojna, latest Farm Bills and other schemes.
Ravinder Raina, spoke on the life and struggle of Upadhayay Ji. He spoke on three principles of Pt Ji’s life, first is Sarvodya which is incorporated in Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas; Swadeshi to empower our nation is taken in firm of Atma Nirbhar Bharat and third is “Gram Swaraj” providing equal opportunities to everyone chiefly farmers to grow and prosper.
BJP Jammu West also paid tributes to late leader and recalled his selfless services to nation. BJP Talab Tillo Mandal paid tribute to Jansangh leader on. The Programme was organised by Keshav Chopra Mandal president BJP.
Former BJP president, Sat Sharma, district president Jammu West, Munish Khajuria, additional publicity secretary, Ayodhya Gupta, Health and Medical Cell convenor, JKUT BJP, Puneet Mahajan also paid tribute to Upadhyay Ji.
Incharge BJP Urban Local Bodies Cell and JMC Councillor Sanjay Baru also paid tributes to Upadhayay in a function in Ward 41.
B J P leader and councilor, Sahil Gupta from Municipal Committee Bishnah along with Ashok Choudhary and Sulakhan Singh today paid tributes to Bharatiya Jana Sangh leader Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya on his birth anniversary at a function organised in Bishnah today.
District vice president and Bishnah Prabhari, Ashok Choudhary, district general secretary, Sulakhan Singh and other BJP supporters, Rajesh Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Dharvinder Kumar, Joginder Pal, Ram, Tushar Digra and others were present on the occasion.
BJP OBC Morcha paid rich tributes to Upadhayay Ji on his birth anniversary at a function organised under the supervision of Anil Balgotra its district president.
Rich tributes were paid to Pt Deen Dayal Upadhayay on his birth anniversary by BJP Mandal Udhampur under the leadership of Vivek Gupta, Mandal president of Udhampur today.
Pradesh BJP vice president, Pawan Khajuria was among the prominent leaders who paid tributes to former Jana Sangh president. He said Pt Ji has become a role model for crores of BJP activists as he dedicated his whole life for the service of nation and its people irrespective of caste, creed, religion and region.
Rakesh Khajuria, Ram Rattan Begda, Dev Raj, Anil Arora and other BJP activists paid floral tributes to late leader on the occasion.
Rich tributes were also paid to Deen Dayal Ji by Kashmir Displaced District BJP at a function at Kacchi Chawni which was presided over by Chand Ji Bhat its president. The programme was attended by BJP vice president and former MLC, Girdhari Lal Raina and other party leaders.
On the occasion of birth anniversary of great leader and profound thinker Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay ji, Jammu Kashmir BJP Secretary Rekha Mahajan, provided a sewing machine to Roopali ,a physically disabled woman, who lost her both legs in an accident and did not have any source of earning livelihood.
Rupali was also provided ration items and home made face covers besides sewing machine by the BJP leader, who visited her residence in Nagrota.
Rekha Mahajan said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ji’s ideals inspire us to serve the poor by extending a helping hand to the needy in the society, thus bringing a positive change in their lives.
