JAMMU, Feb 16: A delegation of BJP OBC Morcha led by Sunil Prajapati, met the G D Sharma, Chairman Backward Classes in his office at Rail Head Complex here today.
The members from different cetegories of OBC community approached OBC Morcha regarding their problems. On their persuation the members including Gulam Mohammed Hajam ( District president BJP OBC Morcha Kupwara), Ghulam Nabi Wani (Constituency President), Ziauddin (Consituency president), Ghulam Mohammed Hajam (Consituency president), Bilal Ahmed Mir (Media Secretary) led by Sunil Prajapati met the Commission here today.
They discussed several issues with regard to the demands of OBC community regarding reservation in jobs. They said there should be a column for OBC in upcoming census. They also demanded that procedure for renewal of OBC certificates should be ammended and made simple. They further demanded political reservation for the OBCs. They submitted a representation to the Commission in this regard.
