JAMMU, July 4: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Mahila Morcha held a review meeting regarding forthcoming programmes to be carried out by State Unit of the Morcha.
Meeting was chaired by BJP State president, Mahila Morcha Rajni Sethi in which the threadbare discussions on ongoing development and organizational programmes being carried out by Morcha were held. Former Minister and Prabhari of Morcha, Priya Sethi was also present in the meeting.
Rajni Sethi, while addressing the meeting interacted with the State team and sought first hand information about various organisational activities. Sethi also informed that the State Working Committee meeting of Mahila Morcha will be held on July 8, this year and also discussed the modalities for the membership drive that will be organised from July 6 to August 11. The drive will be conducted all over the country to expand the base of the party. She added that the exclusive membership by Mahila Morcha will be started in State on July, 14 and in all districts on July 15 and in all Mandals on July 16.
Rajni Sethi asked all Mahila State office bearers to work hard to make the membership drive a success and enroll as many new members as they can and achieve the aspiring target of 17 Lakh memberships by party in J&K as has been set by BJP State leadership out of which one lakh membership target has been given to J&K Mahila Morcha. She also discussed the points regarding the political resolution with the State officer bearers.
Priya Sethi said that every single party representative has to play his or her part well which is to be efficiently augmented by district, Mandal incharges and co-incharges set up the party for the membership drive.
She also stressed on taking the public friendly policies and programmes of party and Narendra Modi led Union Government to every nook and corner of the State.
Prominent among those attended the review meeting were State vice presidents, Kamla Gupta, Kunti Jasrotia, Chand Bhagat, Monika Khosla, State general secretaries, Sanjita Dogra, Updesh Andotra and Shailza Gupta, State secretaries, Parveen Arora, Poonam Sharma, Bimla Padha, Anu Bhasin, Neha Mahajan, Neena Gupta State office secretary Neeru Anand, Geetanjali Mahajan and State media secretary Prerna Nanda.
