JAMMU, Apr 21: A team of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Leh under the leadership of Thupstan Chhewang, Tsering Angdus, Vice President BJP Leh and Dorje Angchuk President BJP Youth Wing Leh met Deputy Commissioner/District Election Officer Leh Simrandeep Singh regarding the execution of Polling Booth in Jammu for Ladakhi Student studying outside Ladakh.
In this regard Simrandeep Singh assured to take up the matter with the Election Commission of India (ECI) and he enclosed the detailed copies of the letters forwarded to ECI from District Election Officer Leh.
Later Thupstan Chhewang called Election Commission of India over phone and put up the demand strongly to exercise the democratic adult franchise and to provide to cast the votes for students studying outside Ladakh.
