BJP kick-starts ‘Seva Saptha’

Srinagar, Sept 14: BJP today kick-started ‘Seva Saptha’ Programme from its party headquarters during a ceremony that was attended by its leaders from J&K.
As a part of the program from September 14 onwards, the party said, different activities are scheduled in the week which includes a presentation of artificial limbs, wheelchairs and other allied equipment to specially-abled persons.
The week will also see plantation drives for a better environment, blood and plasma donations camps, the party said, will also be organized, fruit, masks and sanitizers will also be distributed at different hospitals.
The inaugural event was at party Jawahar Nagar office was attended by Altaf Thakur, State Spokesperson of the party for J&K, Ashok Bhat, District President, Srinagar.
The leaders urged upon all the party workers to actively participate and make the program a success. Both the leaders in their respective speeches highlighted the importance of ‘Seva Saptha’ Program
There was a special mention of blood and plasma donations in the time of the pandemic. District President Ashok Bhat, the party said, assured full cooperation & support
Besides, the party said, a small function was also organized to celebrate the upcoming birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
