BJP KDD organises intellectuals’ meet

JAMMU, Sept 23: Kashmir BJP held an intellectuals meeting at Durga Nagar in which cross section of society participated and deliberated at various issues faced by the displaced people from Valley.
The meeting was chaired by president, Kashmir Displaced District, Chand Ji Bhat while senior BJP leader and incharge Intellectuals and Senior citizens Cell Hira Lal Bhat conducted the programme and highlighted the various steps taken by Narendra Modi Government for the welfare of people.
He said country has touched new heights under the leadership of PM Modi and present dispensation at New Delhi is totally concerned for the rehabilitation of displaced Pandits in their homeland Kashmir. He asked the gathering to have trust in the present leadership.
He said that Modi Government’s commitment is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas and assured that the issue of package employees has already been taken up by the party with higher ups in the Government.
Chand Ji Bhat while asking people to have faith and trust in Modi Government said he has taken up the issue of package employees with the Government vigorously.
Prof G L Koul advisor, All Displaced Kashmiri United Forum (ADKUF) while highlighting the problems of the community asked BJP KDD to have connect with the common masses and take steps in redressing the rehabilitation issue of the community.
Satish Kissu vice chairman ADKUF appealed people to extend full support to Narendra Modi Government for making India world leader.
Roshan Lal Raina, president Durga Nagar Welfare Committee highlighted various issues of the community and said that he had submitted a memorandum through email to both PM and HM in this regard.
Corporator Sheela Handoo and Kuldeep Raina president Kheer Bhawani Asthapan Manzgam also spoke on the occasion. Bushan Lal Bhat Mandal president organised the meeting. Among others who were present included H K Razdan general secretary KDD, Prem Nath Raina general secretary, ADKUF, I K Raina, Makhan Lal Bhat, Moti Lal Bhat, R K Sadhu , Sweety Koul and Rejoinder Koul.
