BJP Kashmir protests against attacks on WB party activists

SRINAGAR, May 5: Bharatiya Janata Party’s Kashmir Unit today protested at the party office in Jawahar Nagar against the TMC for continuous “murderous attacks” on BJP activists in Bengal.
State Spokesperson of the party, Altaf Thakur said that they are deeply hurt by the “unabated murderous attacks on BJP activists in Bengal by the TMC goons and the BJP is organizing nationwide protests against TMC.”
He said that as soon as Bengal Assembly elections were over, TMC goons carried out “organized murderous attacks on BJP activists.”
“We appeal to Central Government and Governor of Bengal to take cognizance of the act and ensure the safety of our activists,” he said.
Party’s Kashmir Media in charge and youth leader, Manzoor Bhat launched a scathing attack on the “Goonda” culture of Trinamool Congress under the leadership of Mamta Banerjee over the killings of BJP workers.
“Such attacks on BJP offices in Bengal by TMC goons are making a mockery of democracy in Bengal and this has reaffirmed the “Goonda Neeti” of TMC,” he said.
