Strengthening party at booth level: Koul

SRINAGAR, Mar 5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has identified 10 Assembly constituencies in the Kashmir Valley in which the party can better its poll prospects in coming Assembly elections.
This was informed in a meeting of senior party leaders here, today which was chaired by party general secretary (org) Ashok Koul. He, while addressing the meeting asked the party men to concentrate on these constituencies from today.
The ten constituencies identified in Kashmir included Habakadal, Eidgah, and Central Shalteng in Srinagar district of Kashmir Valley, Tral in Pulwama district, Shopian Assembly segment in Shopian district, Gurez in Bandipora district, Karnah in Kupwara district and Baramulla and Uri Assembly segments in Baramulla district.
Party general secretary and in charge Kashmir Affairs, Sunil Sharma besides other leaders were present in the meeting regarding upcoming party programmes and booth Sashaktikaran.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the meeting asked the party leaders to lay emphasis on strengthening the party at booth-level with Assembly election in UT J&K slated to be announced any time in near future. He said the party leaders to contact the ground level workers and the common masses hailing from their booth area to apprise them of the works done by the BJP Government, both in State and Centre and discussed their issues in detail alongside. He asked them to do their task diligently and ensure their work to the full expectations of the organization.
Sunil Sharma gave thrust on the importance of the meeting. He said that the purpose of the meeting was to improve the coordination between the top to the bottom level of the organization. He prompted the party leaders to invoke a thought provoking process to ensure the “Booth Vijay Abhiyan”.

Meeting was attended by senior leaders, Surinder Ambardar, Dr Ali Mohammed Mir, BJP spokesperson, Altaf Thakur, UT Media in charge, Manzoor Bhat, president Srinagar district, Ashok Bhat, publicity in charge, Arif Raja, social media in charge, Bilal Parray, North and South incharges, Mudasir Wani and Veer Saraaf, incharge Baramulla, Anwar Khan, district office secretary, Salinder Sìngh.
Later the party under the leadership of Ashok Koul held a meeting with vendors of Batmaloo which was also attended by district president Ashok Bhat and other senior leaders.
