RAMBAN, Mar 1: Contin-uing the constituency wise “Vikas Sushashan Sankalp rallies”, a massive public rally was held at Ramban by BJP, which was organized by MLA Ramban Neelam Langeh and district president Ramesh Sharma.
BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A) was the chief guest while State general secretary, Pawan Khajuria, ex-MoS & MLA Kishtwar, Sunil Sharma, MLA Bhadarwah Daleep Singh Parihar and MLA Ramban Neelam Langeh were the guests of honour.
Sat Sharma and other leaders also paid tributes to the martyrs of 1953 agitation of Ek Vidhan-Ek Nishaan-Ek Pradhan which marked the Shahidi Divas today.
Addressing the public gathering, Sat Sharma highlighted the achievement of the Modi-led NDA Government and the 10 months PDP-BJP coalition rule in the State. “Every achievement by the Modi Government in itself is a phenomenal improvement and change over the rule and conduct of previous Congress-led Government” Sat said and added that the hallmark of Congress Government had been scams, while as the Modi Government has effected paradigm change for better transparent governance and the scams are thing of the past. He added that State coalition Government during its 10 months rule in the State had taken very effective welfare steps and had also initiated action to improve the security environment in the far-flung areas by substantially enhancing the emoluments of VDC members.
Pawan Khajuria said that being mountainous area where people face lot of hardship and harsh conditions, the PDP-BJP Government was a first Government that had initiated infrastructure improvement schemes in these areas. The roads being one of the most important requirements in the area were being tackled on war footing, he added.
Sunil Sharma, in his address, said that previous coalition of BJP-PDP had initiated people friendly policies and practices and the coalition Government had a open and transparent people friendly agenda. There were no hidden aims and purposes in the governance by the PDP-BJP Government, he added.
Neelam Langeh, while congratulating the local party workers for having worked over time for making this rally a grand success, said that Make in India is not a mere slogan but is an article of faith for the BJP.
Daleep Singh Parihar, MLA Bhadarwah, Showqat Javed Daing, Sunita Devi and Mandal presidents also addressed the gathering. Ramban district president Ramesh Sharma presented vote of thanks.
