BJP holds public meeting at Thiksey

Jammu, Nov 17: BJP’s Thiksey Block Mandal organized a public meeting in connection with the upcoming Assembly election. Dignitaries including Shree Kiren Rijiju, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Thupstan Chhewang, MP, Ladakh, addressed a mass gathering.
Kiren Rijiju conveyed to the public that the Center Government under the leadership of Narendra Modi, is taking seriously the demands like UT status to Ladakh, inclusion of Bhoti language in the 8th Schedule of Indian Constitution and Up gradation of CIBS to Deemed University with the untiring endeavor of Thupstan Chhewang. He added, for the realization of the demands it is must that the state Assembly proposes in favor of the demands, hence it is crucial that BJP candidates from Ladakh must be sent to the State Assembly. Kiren Rijiju repeated in his address that the government has decided to provide free ration to those residents who are residing close to the borders.

The road show went through Khardung, Khalsar, Tirit, Lakjung, summer, Tiger, Hasara, Pinchimik, Lchamshen, Yulkham, Tirisha, Phukpochhe, Panamik, Hargam, Staksha, Burma, Charasa, Kuri, Murgi, Kubet, Aranu yokma, Aranu Gongma, Khemi, Nyungsted, Dongsa, Gonbo, Tongstet, Henachi, Changlung sasoma, Panamik yokma & Panamik Gongma.
Tsering Dorjay MLA Candidate accompanied with senior leaders of BJP addressed public meetings at Dha, Bema, Hanu Gonma, Hanu Yokma, Hanuthang, Skurbuchan Gonpa, and Skurbuchan appealing the gatherings to support him.
