JAMMU, Dec 30: A one day convention was organized by the BJP Block Raipur -Damana at Dream City Muthi today under the leadership of district president Omi Khajuria.
The convention was organized by block president Ved Parkash Sharma.
During the convention many public issues like water, power and roads were highlighted and Mr Khajuria assured that the problems will be raised before the concerned ministers.
The members stressed on four lanning of Jammu-Akhnoor road be taken up in hand immediately as the road is totally congested resulting in increasing accidents on it.
They also demanded repairs to Bantalab Akhnoor road via Kote -Bhalwal.
The convention was addressed by Mandal presidents of Marh, Babu Ram Sharma, Mandal president Muthi -Paloura, Kuldeep Singh, Mandal president Dansal, Satish Sharma. Besides BJP leader Mukesh Sharma also addressed it.
Mr Khajuria appealed the people to strengthen the Party and assured that the repairs to the road from Bantalab to Gharota will be started soon.
