SAMBA, May 29: BJP Kashmir Displaced District (KDD) has demanded that Sub District Hospital Jagti may be made fully functional as the people are facing many hardships due to lack of proper medicare facilities in the hospital.
The BJP KDD president, T N Bhat, Bharat Bushan Bhat (Gosani), Shuban Pandita, M L Bhat, vice presidents, Vinod Pandita general secretary, Vimal Raina (corporator) and Vishal Jyotshi secretary have made an appeal to Lt Governor, G C Murmu in this regard and sought his immediate intervention in the matter.
They said that the hospital lacks provisions for testing laboratory, X-Ray etc while there are also no adequate medicines available and it lacks the required infrastructure and the people face great hardships in the prevailing situation which has emerged due to spread of COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.
They urged the LG to take the matter on priority basis and issue directions to for making the hospital fully functional like other SDHs in the UT.
