JAMMU, Apr 7: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Bharatiya Janata Party’s(BJP) 40th Foundation Day issued five directories for party workers which include masks, gratitude and Aarogya set up among others. Strengthening the war against Coronavirus in J&K and following the directions of Prime Minister, J&K BJP general secretary, Vibodh Gupta along with district president, Jammu Vinay Gupta, State secretory, Rekha Mahajan, additional Protocol Incharge, Shalinder Vaid, Mandal Pardhan and corporator, Trikuta Nagar, Niraj Puri distributed masks to more than 200 people and helped them to install Aarogya App.
While making people aware about the various aspects of Coronavirus, Vibodh Gupta appealed them to maintain social distance, stay home and communicate the message that they are not alone during this tough time. He also asked them to strictly adhere to the lockdown and basic hygiene to check the spread of the virus. He urged them to wear a mask even at home and wash hands on regular intervals.
Vibodh further appreciated the unity and universality shown by lightning the lamp of hope and fight against Coronavirus on Sunday. He further urged people to show gratitude towards the needy and ensure that no one sleeps hungry. He proposed to pledge 3 Ss- i.e Sewa, Sankalp and Sadbhawana to defeat Corona Virus. “Sewa (Service to humanity), Sankalp (vow to stay home) and Sadhbawana (good faith and unity) will definitely raise India positively from the pandemic crisis”, Vibodh added. Wishing people on World Health Day, he said that everyone should make all possible efforts to fight against Coronavirus.
Speaking to people during the drive, district president, Jammu, Vinay Gupta said that social distancing and self-isolation are the only antidotes to the virus. He appealed to people to follow a healthy lifestyle, diet and practice Yoga to stay fit. He asked them to wear masks and regularly wash their hands. He appreciated the fact the people are religiously following lockdown.
State secretary, Rekha Mahajan, additional Protocol Incharge, Shalinder Vaid, Mandal Pardhan and corporator, Trikuta Nagar Niraj Puri also spoke on the occasion.
